We want to thank you for your interest in our church. We hope the information on our website is helpful.
We are grateful to be a part of your search for a church home and warmly invite you to visit us at either of our locations this Sunday.
What are services like?
Please stop by the Welcome Center and allow one of our volunteers to direct you.
As you enter the FBC Worship Service, expect to be handed a Sunday morning bulletin. Ushers and Greeters are available, if needed, to help you get seated. A typical Sunday morning service consists of singing and music led by one of our worship teams. Our Worship Ministry staff and volunteers provide a blended style of worship music ranging from old hymns to new contemporary songs, all aimed at Glorifying God. Our Pastor, Steve Bateman, delivers relevant, expository preaching. We utilize a mixture of live preaching and video simulcast across our different venues.
First Bible Church is One Church meeting in two locations. We join together for worship at our Decatur Campus which has a choice of two venues or at our Madison Campus.
Visit the Choose a Campus section of our site for locations and service times.
Where should you take your children?
Stop by the Welcome Center and let our greeters show you to our children’s ministry areas where we offer excellent, age-appropriate environments. There are check-in stations at each of the children/student areas. It only takes a moment to check-in.
One of the first steps we recommend after attending our church is to get involved in one of our Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs). These groups meet together each week on Sunday mornings for fellowship around the solid teaching of Scripture. ABFs provide a healthy environment for developing relationships within a larger church. In effect, each ABF is a small congregation made up of members who are committed to care for one another. Most groups focus on seasons of life, but some are intergenerational.
