Family Worship Month Begins in August.

Beginning on August 3rd, and for the month of August, we will have one service at 10:45 in the Field House. Kindergarten through 5th grade children will attend the service with their parents. Preschool age children will continue “Camp Shine” at 10:45 on the Preschool Hall. Nursery (babies – 2 year olds) will be provided at 10:45.

Adult Bible Fellowships will not meet during the month of August.

Regular Sunday morning schedules for both adults and children ministries begin again on Sunday, September 7th. Our Sunday evening ministries also start back on this date.

Regular Sunday Schedules Begin September 7th

Children’s ministries, Nursery – 5th grade, for both the 9:15 and 10:45 hours, start back on this date.

Student Ministry, 6th -12 grades, will have Sunday school 1st hour on the Student Wing, small groups for each grade and also their large group meeting. 2nd hour students attend the worship service.

Adult Bible Fellowships will start back on this date during both hours. Check the ABF brochure for class listings, time and room numbers.

Our Sunday evening Bible study (5:50) will also resume on September 7th. Nursery is offered and our Awana program, Cubbies for preschool, and Sparks, Kindergarten – 2nd grade, starts back on this evening. GIGAS (3rd – 5th grade girls) and Sportsters (3rd – 5th grade boys) begin as well as TREK for 6th – 8th grade students.  All children’s programs begin at 5:45 pm.

Seminar C1: Our Creed – Truths We Believe
Sunday, September 28, 2008, 3 – 7 pm, Room 209

This first step of four is for anyone who is interested in becoming more involved in the FBC family through church membership.

This seminar helps you understand the beliefs, values, direction, and philosophy of FBC. Attendance at C1 is required for membership at First Bible. Attending C1 does not commit you to membership.  Sign up by calling the office. Childcare is available for nursery – 5th grade. Please sign up for that when registering.

Ladies Bible Studies

Time for the fall studies. Starting Tuesday, Sept. 2nd, 6 – 7:30, a Beth Moore study on Believing God (cost $16.50); Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30, a Precept study on Romans 1-5 (cost $27.00) and Essentials of the Christian Faith  (cost $11.00). Call the church office to sign up. Childcare for Nursery - preschool is only available for the Wed. am studies.
